Type I - Hard Acrylic

 

This sleep apnea appliance is made from Forestacryl® Strong Acrylic, which for decades has been proven to be a superior acrylic in orthodontics. It is also known for its strength, clarity, solidity, comfort and quality.

 

Hard Type I is retained by delta clasps for superior retention.

 

Works best with stable dentition.

 

Type II - Dual

 

The base layer is constucted of Astron® Thermal Acrylic that provides a comfortable fit for retention. Astron® does not discolour or absorb odours. This appliance inserts easily after warming in hot water for 3 minutes at a temperature of 80 - 85 degrees Celsius (180 - 190 degrees Fahrenheit).

 

The occlusal surfaces and screw mechanism are reinforced and chemically bonded by Forestacryl® Strong Acrylic.

 

Can be used on all dentition.

 

Type III- Dual

 

The Type III is designed for the edentulous patient.

 

The base layer is constucted of Astron® Thermal Acrylic that provides a comfortable fit for retention. Astron® does not discolour or absorb odours. This appliance inserts easily after warming in hot water for 3 minutes at a temperature of 80 - 85 degrees Celsius (180 - 190 degrees Fahrenheit).
