Made of two layers, this makes for a longer lasting more durable splint. Inside the layer is made from a thermal impak material for retention and the outer layer consists of hard acrylic.

 

This appliance inserts easily after warming in hot water for 3 minutes at a temperature of 80 - 85 degrees Celsius (180 - 190 degrees Fahrenheit).
